RisleeTree Studios, a division of The Rislee Tree Company, builds apps and software designed to be useful, honest, and respectful of the people who use them. That extends to how we handle your data — which is carefully, and as minimally as possible.
This policy applies to all apps published by RisleeTree Studios, including SteadFast, Wax, The Keeper, and Steady Ground.
What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary for our apps to function. Depending on the app, this may include:
- Usage data — how you interact with the app (e.g. fasting sessions, streaks, preferences)
- Health data — for apps that integrate with Apple HealthKit, data is stored on your device and governed by Apple's privacy framework. We do not transmit your health data to our servers.
- Device information — basic device type and OS version for crash reporting and compatibility
- Support correspondence — if you contact us via our support form, we retain your name, email, and message to respond to you
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone unless an app explicitly requires it and you have granted permission.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
- We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your usage.
Third-Party Services
Some of our apps use third-party services to help us operate. These may include:
- Apple HealthKit — for health and fitness data integration, governed by Apple's privacy policies
- Formspree — used to process support form submissions on our website
- Vercel — our website host, which may collect standard server logs
We choose partners who take privacy seriously. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in our apps unless explicitly disclosed in an app's own documentation.
Data Retention
Data stored within our apps lives on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing the app. Support correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your issue.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
