Who we are and why we started

RisleeTree Studios didn't start with a pitch deck or a whiteboard full of market research. It started with a decision — a quiet one — to show up every day and build something real.

We're a small studio. Life has tested all of us. Not in ways we'd put on a slide, but in the ways that matter — the kind that make you figure out what you're actually made of. Honesty. Resilience. Showing up when it's hard. Those aren't brand values we invented. They're what got us through.

At some point you realize that the things you learned the hard way are worth something. Not just to you — to other people too. And the question becomes: what do you do with that?

For us, the answer was to build.

Why software

We build apps, games, and software because that's where we can do the most good with what we have. A well-made tool changes how someone's day goes. A good game can open something up in a person. Software scales in ways most things don't — you build it once and it keeps working for people long after you're done.

We're not chasing trends. We're not building to flip or to impress anyone. We build because we have something to say and this is how we say it.

What RisleeTree means

The name comes from a simple idea: a tree doesn't grow overnight. It puts down roots. It grows slowly, through drought and cold, through seasons that don't look like progress from the outside. And then one day it's standing there — solid, real, impossible to ignore.

That's what we're doing. We're not in a hurry. We're in it for keeps.

What we're building toward

We have apps in the works — tools for health, navigation, music, mental wellness — and games that take their stories seriously. Every one of them is built around the same question: does this actually help someone? Does it earn the space it takes up on their phone?

If the answer is yes, we ship it. If it isn't, we keep working.

That's who we are. We'll be here tomorrow.
